COVID-19 RESPONSE
We have prioritized the health and safety of our team by creating a safe work environment where stringent policies and procedures are in place that align with Public Health Canada and Ontario guidelines. Premier Candle is dedicated to preventing the spread of Covid-19 within our building and in our community.
Premier Candle’s first priority is the safety of our team members and community.

A Safe Place to Work
Premier Candle’s mandatory face mask and shield policy requires every person on our premises to comply, and we provide all persons on site with the appropriate protection equipment. Every person that enters our building has a temperature check and must fill out a Covid-19 assessment questionnaire, which are documented digitally for accurate contact tracing. Offices, manufacturing spaces, and common areas have been reorganized and plastic barriers installed to ensure physical distancing. All areas are subject to strict cleaning and sanitization schedules. We have also facilitated and encourage members that can, to work from home as much as possible. Premier Candle was dedicated to protecting our team members prior to the pandemic and will continue to during this unprecedented time and beyond.

Protecting Our Community
At Premier, we know that our team is part of our community and we are dedicated to protecting both. At the beginning of the pandemic, we re-focused our manufacturing efforts to expedite production of face shields that were donated to hospitals, nursing homes, and community organizations. Team members donated their time, while practicing physical distancing, to make as many shields as quickly as possible and help protect others in our community. Front line workers at Trillium Heath Partners, Osler Heath Systems Covid Assessment Clinic, and Tall Pines Long Term Care are just a few of the places helped by shield donations.
